Your first step is a Catalogue Health Check: twelve months of your own data, read back to you as ten countable findings.
Straight to the requestEight roles, without eight salaries
CuManage runs all eight as one system, for independent labels from 1 January 2027.
- 01Rights managerWhich right, which territory, which term, recording and composition kept apart.
- 02Metadata engineerIdentifiers that match across every portal, every asset defined before it ships.
- 03Claims officerEvery claim watched and answered inside each portal's own window, catalogue-wide.
- 04Reporting analystHundreds of thousands of statement lines turned into figures a decision can rest on.
- 05AccountantSplits, withholding, and reserves held against claims that land months later.
- 06Marketing unitSocial, new SEO, targeted advertising, creators, influencers, KOL.
- 07Design and videoArtwork, thumbnails, trailers, formats, at release cadence.
- 08Data analystWhich release, which market, which audience, and what to do next.
We do the work, for a fixed fee.
Running your catalogue means the eight roles above are ours to carry from the day the service starts, 1 January 2027. Every month you get one page: what happened, what worked, what we will change, with full access to the data behind it.
A fixed monthly fee from EUR 1,250, depending on the catalogue, plus 15% of every euro your catalogue earns above the previous twelve months.
The baseline is your last twelve months, agreed in writing before we touch anything, so the increase is a fact rather than a discussion.
Example: your catalogue earns EUR 18,000 a month, EUR 216,000 a year. You pay a fixed fee from EUR 1,250 a month, depending on the catalogue. On top of that we receive 15% of every euro your catalogue earns above the previous twelve months. If your annual revenue grows by 20%, that is EUR 43,200, our share is EUR 6,480. After fee and share, you keep EUR 21,720 more than before.
The Health Check comes first. The Catalogue Health Check costs EUR 1,250 plus VAT. If you go on to work with us, this amount counts as your first monthly fee. We present the terms for your catalogue once we have read the findings together. Other models, such as participation, are discussed after the Health Check.
Built on our own catalogue first
CuManage is in production at Cugate today. If you bring us your catalogue, your rights stay yours: we work under a licence you define.

Everyone's own page. Advice gets measured.
Four screen designs for the version that will open to independent labels, shown with Northwind Records, an invented label with made-up names and figures.
01Rosa, the owner, sees the label's channels on one page. Own-channel income against the month before, twelve months of it, Content ID and the five channels ranked come first, then the advice so far with its verdicts and who is carrying what.
02Petra's day on one page. The advice she has to decide on is already late, and it says why it was given and when its result will be read. Ines is waiting on that decision and on the video Petra publishes today.
03Rosa sees each channel's uploads in a lane. Every upload shows its video, thumbnail and title steps, who does each one and by when, and the late steps are named at the top.
04Advice that's acted on gets one verdict at 14 days, against the 14 days before, and it stands. A video going well can get a look at 28 days that leaves the verdict as it is.
Your catalogue, counted line by line
The Health Check traces a year of your income back to the recordings and works it belongs to. Each position below has a name you can repeat to a lawyer, a society or a catalogue buyer.
What the report counts
- 01Revenue lines that match no asset the owner holds
- 02Territories earning with no publishing registration
- 03Third-party claims that expired without an answer
- 04Recordings without an ISRC
- 05Works without an ISWC
- 06Titles whose metadata differs between portals
- 07Catalogue with a documented chain of title
- 08Works with duplicate or conflicting registrations
- 09Income with no buyer detail
- 10Concentration in the strongest titles
Findings, never forecasts: each position gets a count and a severity. We walk you through them in one meeting.
What you send decides what we find
- Statement files for the last twelve full months, from every distributor, aggregator and portal, in their original export format rather than a summary.
- The catalogue list: releases, recordings and works, with whatever identifiers exist today, including the ones the owner knows are wrong.
- Publishing side: society registrations, publisher statements, and the list of works the owner believes are administered and by whom.
- Claim notifications received during the period, including the ones nobody answered.
- Contracts establishing the chain of title, at least for the titles carrying the most income.
- A named contact on the client side who can answer questions about the data within a working day.
Anything you cannot produce is itself a finding, and goes into the report as one.
